Things To Remember When Using Aluminum Melting Furnace Castables

Only suitable drinking water should be used to mix the castable. The temperature of the mixture should also be optimal.

 

Care should be taken while mixing, especially with refractory cement castables. Excessive mixing generates heat and accelerates setting time.

 

The molds should be coated with oil or grease to prevent moisture loss.
