Description

Silicon carbide non-stick aluminum castable is made primarily from high-purity silicon carbide, combined with high-alumina micro-powder, a low-cement or cement-free binding system, and special non-wetting, anti-seepage functional components. In a high-temperature molten aluminum environment, this material resists wetting by molten aluminum, chemical corrosion, and mechanical erosion, maintaining a clean lining surface and structural integrity.

Silicon carbide non-stick aluminum castables incorporate ultra-fine powder technology, offering high bulk density, high strength, and excellent thermal shock stability. By adding appropriate de-wetting agents, the wettability of molten aluminum, aluminum alloys, and slag on the refractory is significantly reduced. This enhances resistance to corrosion and erosion, prevents sticking of aluminum and slag, and extends furnace lining life. It is especially suitable for melting furnaces, settling furnaces, ladle troughs, and aluminum ladle linings.

The product is corrosion-resistant, resists penetration by molten aluminum, and is wear-resistant.
