High-alumina non-stick aluminum castable is a low-cement, ultrafine powder bonded refractory material formulated from high-purity mullite, andalusite, and sillimanite. It offers easy construction, high strength, excellent wear resistance, and long service life, while providing effective seepage prevention against molten metals such as Zn, Cu, Mg, and Al. This makes it an essential material for aluminum melting furnaces, holding furnaces, flow channels, and other equipment.

This castable incorporates an internationally recognized non-stick aluminum component, which forms a protective layer on the solidified surface, blocking pores and preventing aluminum adhesion. The addition of a high-efficiency refractory binder ensures a smooth solidified surface that reduces slag buildup. It is widely used in aluminum melting furnaces, holding furnaces in contact with molten aluminum, and ladle lifting areas. It is particularly suitable for integral casting of holding furnaces and furnace linings in high-purity aluminum melting equipment.

By adding dewetting agents such as high-purity chromium oxide, composite barium salts, and composite zinc salts, the castable significantly reduces the wettability of aluminum, aluminum alloys, and molten slag on the refractory surface. This enhances corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, and non-stick properties, preventing molten aluminum, alloys, and slag from penetrating the refractory material. As a result, the furnace lining life is significantly extended. Typical applications include melting furnaces, settling furnaces, ladle troughs, and aluminum ladle linings.
