High-aluminum high-strength wear-resistant castable is an amorphous refractory castable made of high-aluminum bauxite clinker as the main raw material, with multiple particles and gradations filling each other to form a dense structure, and adding high-aluminum refractory cement binder, shrinkage-proof agent, dispersant, coagulant and other additives. The formula used for high-aluminum high-strength wear-resistant castable is different according to the thickness of the casting part and the size of the critical grains added.

Wear-resistant castables for magnesium reduction furnaces are made by adjusting the particle grading on the basis of the traditional castable ratio, adding different chemical admixtures to the castables, and reducing the amount of cement, thereby improving the performance of the castables, increasing the medium-temperature strength and load softening temperature of the castables, reducing the thermal conductivity of the castables, and improving the thermal shock stability of the castables.

Wear-resistant castables for magnesium reduction furnaces have good penetration resistance, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, wear resistance, and mechanical properties, making the furnace structure more integrated and the airtightness better than that of brick-built furnaces, extending the furnace life, saving furnace repair costs, and achieving significant economic benefits.

Construction preparation of wear-resistant castables for magnesium reduction furnaces:

1. The mold should be cleaned and the gaps should be tightly sealed to prevent leakage, so as to avoid the separation of aggregate and powder during casting.

3. The construction environment temperature of the castable must be maintained between 5-40℃. A temperature below 40℃ will cause the castable to solidify too long, and a construction temperature above 40℃ will cause the castable to solidify too quickly.
