High Strength Castable

High-strength wear-resistant castable is composed of high-strength aggregate and powder mineral additives. Most of the calcium aluminate cement in the matrix is ​​replaced by (Aiken) ultrafine powder. At the same time, appropriate additives are added. After optimized formula design, it has small wear loss, high strength, arbitrary controllable shape, strong integrity, simple construction, and good construction performance. Due to the addition of high molecular polymer, it has high mechanical strength and good thermal shock resistance and abrasion resistance. Features of high-strength castable: 1. The cement content in the castable is low, that is, the calcium oxide content is low, which reduces the production of low-melting products in the material, thereby improving the product's refractoriness, high temperature strength and slag resistance. 2. The mixing water consumption of the castable is only about one-half of that of ordinary castables, thereby improving the density of the castable and reducing the porosity. 3. After molding and curing, less cement hydrate is generated. When heated and baked, there is no large amount of water leakage, which reduces the medium-temperature strength. Instead, as the temperature rises, the material gradually sinters and the strength continues to increase.

High-aluminum high-strength castables are different from ordinary refractory castables in that most of the calcium aluminate concrete in the matrix material is replaced by (Aiken) ultrafine powder, and an appropriate amount of preservatives are added to achieve and exceed the properties of ordinary castables.

The main characteristics of high-strength wear-resistant castables are as follows:

1. The concrete content in the castable is low, that is, the calcium oxide content is low, which reduces the formation of low-melting products in the material, thereby improving the product's refractoriness, high-temperature strength and slag resistance.

2. The mixing water requirement of the castable is only about half of that of ordinary castables, thereby improving the compactness of the castable and reducing porosity.

3. After forming and curing, the converted concrete has less hydrate. During heating and baking, there is no large amount of water leakage, which reduces the medium-temperature strength. However, as the temperature rises, the material slowly calcines and the strength continues to increase.

 

 

High-strength castables are used in industrial kilns in aluminum melting furnaces, metallurgical industry, machinery, petrochemical industry, decorative building materials and other manufacturing industries, and have good actual effects.
