Burner bricks are important components in thermal equipment such as industrial furnaces and burners. They are mainly installed at the outlet of the burner (burner). Their functions mainly include the following aspects:
1.Protect the burner: The burner is in direct contact with high-temperature flames or gas. The burner brick, as a protective layer made of refractory materials, can withstand high temperatures and prevent the metal parts of the burner from being deformed or damaged by direct burning at high temperatures. It can resist chemical erosion from acidic gases, slag or smoke generated during the combustion process and extend the service life of the burner.
2. Stabilize the flame: Through its geometric shape (such as contraction, expansion or specific guide structure), it helps to adjust the shape, length and diffusion angle of the flame to make the combustion more stable and uniform. Airflow guidance: optimize the mixing efficiency of gas and air, ensure full combustion, and reduce local high temperature or unburned phenomenon.
3. Improve combustion efficiency: The refractory material of the burner brick has low thermal conductivity, which can reduce the heat loss from the furnace through the burner and improve the utilization rate of thermal energy.
4. Improve the atmosphere in the furnace: The layout and design of the burner bricks will affect the flow and distribution of the gas in the furnace, thereby improving the atmosphere in the furnace. In some heat treatment furnaces that require a specific atmosphere, such as a reducing atmosphere furnace, its reasonable design can make the reducing gas evenly distributed in the furnace, providing a good reducing atmosphere for the workpiece and preventing the workpiece from oxidation.
