What are clay insulating refractory bricks?
It is a heat-insulating refractory product with an Al2O3 content of 30% to 48% made of refractory clay as the main raw material. Its production process adopts the burnout addition method and the foam method. Refractory clay, floating beads, refractory clay clinker are used as raw materials, and binders and sawdust are added. After batching, mixing, molding, drying and firing, a product with a volume density of 0.3~1.5g/cm3 is obtained.
What are the advantages of clay insulating refractory bricks?
It has excellent thermal insulation and fire resistance. Compared with traditional heavy refractory bricks, its outstanding advantages are: lightweight structure reduces equipment load and reduces heat energy loss; closed-cell structure effectively blocks heat conduction; good compatibility with acidic and neutral media; easy construction, and can be processed into special-shaped bricks to adapt to complex structures.
In what fields can clay insulating refractory bricks be used?
It is widely used in metallurgical furnace insulation layer, ceramic roller kiln, boiler insulation lining and other scenarios, especially suitable for working conditions with high requirements for thermal insulation performance and no direct contact with molten materials. It should be noted that despite its excellent performance, it needs to be used in conjunction with heavy refractory materials in extreme environments such as mechanical shock or direct contact with slag erosion to ensure the overall service life of the equipment.
Haixin Refractory has been deeply involved in the field of refractory materials for more than 30 years. Relying on its independently developed gradient firing process and national testing laboratory, it has formed a series of product matrix covering the full temperature range of 800-1300℃. Our engineering team is on call 24 hours a day, ready to answer all your questions from material selection to maintenance at any time - after all, making thermal energy create value more safely is the driving force of our continuous innovation.
