Chrome drainage Refractory has the characteristics of high fire resis- tance,good fluidity,high casting rate,suitable for all kinds of puping and refining ladle,tics.
1. Main raw materials: Chromium drainage agent is mainly made of imported high-purity chromium sand and high-quality fracturing sand with reasonable particle size grading. It is suitable for steelmaking processes with long refining time such as LF, VD, RH. The main component SiO2 ≥ 40%, refractoriness > 1800, particle size 0.1 = 1.5mm, bulk density (t/m3) 2.3-2.6.
2. Usage and advantages: When adding drainage agent, use a sand filling device and pile it into a cone shape to prevent molten steel from scouring and affecting the self-opening rate during steel tapping. It has the advantages of good fluidity, high refractoriness, high specific gravity, fast flow rate, appropriate sintering layer thickness, and resistance to molten steel erosion and penetration in short-process steelmaking.
3. Effects and performances: Resistant to molten steel erosion and penetration, the self-flowing pouring rate of the ladle reaches more than 99%, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers, reduces oxygen blowing and drainage, improves the quality of steel products, and ensures the smooth progress of the continuous casting process.
