Description

Refractory materials used in steelmaking converters. Converter is an upright circular furnace that does not require an external heat source and mainly uses liquid pig iron as raw material for steelmaking. According to the properties of the refractory materials of the furnace lining, it is divided into acid converters and alkaline converters. According to the location where the gas is blown into the furnace, it is divided into bottom blowing, top blowing, side blowing and top and bottom composite blowing converters.

Magnesium carbon repair bricks have good thermal shock resistance, strong erosion resistance, excellent stability at high temperatures, good thermal conductivity, good wear resistance and good spalling resistance. In addition, with the improvement and progress of smelting technology and the promotion and application of gunning technology, the life of the furnace lining has been greatly improved since the 1990s, and the consumption of refractory materials per ton of steel generally does not exceed 2kg.

1.Fetting brick:Adopts various grades of sintered magnesia,electro-fused magnesia,asphalt and graphite as raw materials and pressed into certain shapes.The product is mainly used for repairing the front and rear surfaces of the converter to improve the service life of the converter.

2.Steel tapping hole repair:It has quick sintering speed,strong corrosion resistance and erosion resistance,very suitable for hot repair and maintenance of steel outlet of converter.
