
Cylinder bricks for coke ovens refer to shaped refractory products with high strength and wear resistance, which are made of ceramic clinker and clay as the skeleton and powder, and are prepared with different binders and admixtures.
Cylinder bricks are divided into standard and special shapes according to their performance and shape.
Cylinder bricks for coke ovens are made by adding a certain amount of additives to clay bricks. Their production process is basically the same as that of clay bricks, and the firing temperature is between 1330℃ and 1350℃. Therefore, in order to glaze the surface of cylinder bricks, the glaze must be prepared into a slurry and applied to the surface of the cylinder bricks. During the firing process of the cylinder bricks, the glaze melts and spreads out. After cooling, a glass-like thin layer is formed on the brick surface and is combined with the cylinder bricks.
