1. Silicon carbide combined with nitriding high-energy wear-resistant and refractory bricks are hard in texture and have a Mohs hardness of about 9. They are hard materials among non-metallic materials, second only to diamond.

At high temperatures of 1200-1400℃, they almost maintain the same strength and hardness as at room temperature for the same time.
