High-aluminum high-strength castable is an inorganic non-metallic material. It uses high-aluminum bauxite clinker as the main raw material. It is added with high-aluminum refractory cement binder, shrinkage-proof agent, dispersant, coagulant and other admixtures to form an amorphous refractory castable. The refractoriness of high-aluminum high-strength castables is usually above 1600℃. It can withstand extremely high temperatures and has good high temperature resistance. High-aluminum high-strength castable is a kind of low-cement castable with a cement content of less than 8%. It is a dense high-strength refractory castable made of special high-aluminum raw materials. High-aluminum high-strength castable is made of relatively pure aluminate or pure calcium aluminate cement as a binder, mixed with corundum, mullite, special-grade bauxite clinker and alumina powder or admixtures in proportion, and then mixed with water, formed and cured. The use temperature of high-aluminum high-strength castable is above 1400 degrees, and the aluminum content reaches more than 70%. It is a commonly used castable for kiln lining, with high refractoriness, strong thermal stability, good thermal shock resistance and other thermal properties. The difference between high-aluminum high-strength castable and ordinary refractory castable is that most of the calcium aluminate cement in the matrix is ​​replaced by ultrafine powder, and at the same time, an appropriate amount of additives are added to achieve and exceed the performance of ordinary cement castable.

 

 

High-aluminum high-strength castable has excellent performance and convenient construction, but the cost is high. It is generally only used in special parts of kilns and thermal equipment. Its characteristics are high refractoriness and load softening temperature, high high temperature strength, good slag resistance and strong resistance to reducing gas. The maximum use temperature of high-aluminum high-strength castable is about 1600℃, which is the most widely used castable at present. When preparing high-aluminum high-strength castable, an appropriate amount of water reducer is added to improve construction and workability and performance. Due to the high grade of raw materials and less impurities, it has good resistance to slag and reducing gas.
