      Zirconium corundum castable is an unshaped refractory material produced using high-purity corundum as the main aggregate, with a controlled amount of zirconia, high-performance binders, and special additives. The material maintains excellent mechanical properties and chemical stability even at extremely high temperatures, making it particularly suitable for working linings of industrial furnaces exposed to high temperatures, severe corrosion, and heavy mechanical loads.

      In service, zirconium corundum castables exhibit excellent erosion resistance. Their dense microstructure effectively prevents the penetration of molten metal, slag, and corrosive high-temperature media, thereby reducing chemical attack on the furnace lining. As a result, they are widely used in steelmaking, non-ferrous metal smelting, and glass melting industries.

Zirconium corundum castables are mainly used in the following demanding applications:

Electric furnaces, refining furnaces, and high-temperature reaction zones in the iron and steel industry;
Critical lining areas of non-ferrous smelting furnaces, aluminum melting furnaces, and copper melting furnaces;
Highly corrosive areas in the glass industry, such as molten glass pools and flow channels, as well as high-temperature cracking furnaces and reforming furnaces in the petrochemical industry;
Other industrial furnace systems exposed to extremely high temperatures and severe corrosion.

Packaging: Available in 50 kg bags, jumbo bags, or palletized packaging; customized packaging available upon request.
Storage: Store in a dry and well-ventilated place. The material remains stable under recommended storage conditions.

Mixing Ratio: Castable : Water = 100:(6–8), adjustable according to site conditions.

Mixing Equipment: Use a forced-action mixer. Mix for ≥5 minutes until the mixture is uniform and free of lumps.

Installation Method: Casting or pumping; self-leveling without vibration.

Curing: Cure at room temperature for 24–48 hours, then dry at 110 °C for 24 hours before service.

Precautions: Do not install when the ambient temperature is below 5 °C or the humidity exceeds 80%. Do not mix with other refractory materials.
