High Strength Castable

High-strength castables are composed of high-strength aggregates and powder mineral additives. After optimized formula design, they have small wear loss, high strength, arbitrary controllable shape, strong integrity, simple construction, and good construction performance. Due to the addition of high molecular polymers, the base concrete is firmly bonded and used in construction sites with high wear resistance requirements.
High-strength castables have high strength, good high-temperature performance, stable volume, low thermal conductivity, extremely strong resistance to slag permeability, erosion resistance, convenient construction, and strong integrity of the furnace structure. Compared with traditional castables, it can greatly increase the operating time of the boiler. High-strength wear-resistant castables have high strength, impact resistance, mechanical wear resistance and high-temperature and high-speed airflow erosion. They are widely used in gas suspension roasting furnaces, oil refining catalytic cracking units, cyclone separators, fluidized bed boilers, and pipelines containing medium and high-speed airflow erosion.

High-strength castables are refractory materials that can be cast into shape. That is, after adding appropriate binders to refractory aggregates with adjusted particle sizes and mixing them in advance, and kneading them with water or specific liquids, they can be cast into shape. There are many types of binders. Hydraulic bonded castables harden at room temperature and harden through hydration. The main varieties include silicate cement, ordinary calcium aluminate cement, pure calcium aluminate cement, and fused pure calcium aluminate cement castables. Chemical bonded castables generally harden at room temperature by adding accelerators to form chemical reactions. The main varieties include water glass, aluminum sulfate, and phosphate castables. Condensation bonded castables harden through sintering during the calcination process. The main varieties include clay bonded castables.

 

 

High-strength castables are amorphous refractory materials that are constructed by pouring and can be hardened without heating.
