
Refractory materials used for masonry of mixed iron furnace body and related parts. Mixed iron furnace is a thermal equipment for steel mills to store molten iron, maintain and homogenize the temperature and composition of molten iron, and is sometimes used to remove impurities in molten iron. The mixing furnace generally uses coal gas as fuel, and the operating temperature is 1500~1550℃.
The lining of the mixing furnace is often subjected to molten iron scouring, slag erosion, temperature changes and dynamic load vibration, and is more easily damaged. In particular, the slag line area, the tapping water arch, the connection between the tapping water and the cylindrical body are weak links. In a furnace campaign, the lining of this area needs to be frequently repaired. If impurities in the molten iron are removed in the mixing furnace, the life of the furnace lining will be seriously affected.
