Lightweight micro-bead insulation bricks are insulation refractory products made of floating beads as the main raw material. They are mostly produced by porous clinker method or burnout addition method with floating beads. Floating beads are hollow aluminum silicate glass beads floated from fly ash in thermal power plants. They are light, thin, hollow, smooth, and have good high temperature resistance and insulation properties. These characteristics of floating beads can be used to manufacture insulation refractory materials with excellent insulation properties. Semi-dry molding can be used to produce floating bead bricks. This molding method is simple in process, does not require finished product shaping process, and has excellent product quality and performance.
Lightweight series refractory products have good resistance to deformation, high flexural strength, small reburning linear change rate, low thermal conductivity, good insulation properties, and are excellent insulation materials for industrial power plant boilers and high-temperature equipment.
Lightweight micro-bead insulation bricks are mainly made of lightweight micro-beads as raw materials, mixed with binders, expansion agents, etc., and are prepared through processes such as mixing, molding, and firing.
This product has the characteristics of high compressive strength, light empty weight, low heat capacity, and low thermal conductivity. It is suitable for various industrial kilns and thermal equipment as insulation materials, and has achieved good results.
The characteristics of lightweight micro-bead insulation bricks are high mechanical strength, low thermal conductivity, and low working temperature, which does not exceed the test temperature of the heavy burning line change. Therefore, this product is used in industrial kilns in metallurgy, machinery, chemical industry, petroleum, building materials, light industry, electricity and other departments, and can generally save energy by 15%~40%, especially for intermittent kilns. The energy-saving effect is most significant. Floating bead bricks are used for cement rotary density, and the surface temperature of the kiln body can be reduced by 100℃. They are used in mechanical industrial heat treatment resistance furnaces, which can save about 30% of electricity. Floating bead bricks can also be used in glass melting furnaces, downdraft kilns or tunnel kilns, and can also achieve the purpose of energy saving. They are used in box-type resistance furnaces, and the comprehensive power saving rate reaches 54%.
