HF Series High Strength Wear-resistant Refractory Castable

HF series high-strength wear-resistant refractory castables are made of corundum or high-quality high-alumina bauxite clinker, silicon carbide and other aggregates according to different brands, and introduce a variety of micropowders, ultra-micropowders, corundum powders and admixtures as admixtures. Its main features are: high strength, erosion resistance, good thermal shock stability, etc. It is used in the air distribution plate, slag discharge pipe, furnace dense phase area and furnace outlet, cyclone separator and inlet and outlet flues, return device, slag cooler and other parts with complex structures, which can be cast in vertical molds and have low vibration. The working temperature is about 900℃.

1. Product overview:

HF series high-strength wear-resistant refractory castables are made of corundum or high-quality high-alumina bauxite clinker, silicon carbide, etc. as aggregates according to different grades, and are mixed with various micropowders, ultra-micropowders, corundum powders and admixtures.

 

 

2. Main features:

High strength, wear resistance, erosion resistance, good thermal shock stability, etc. Mainly used for circulating fluidized bed boiler linings and severely worn parts.

Refractory materials that resist friction or erosion of high-temperature solid materials or airflows carrying solid powders are called wear-resistant refractory castables. The initial setting time of high-strength wear-resistant castables is not less than 30 minutes and not more than 240 minutes.

Production process

 

Wear-resistant refractory castables are composed of special grade alumite, corundum powder, high aluminum powder, and high-strength binder. During the operation of CFB boilers, the working temperature is generally 850-1050. The aluminum content of conventional wear-resistant refractory castables is very high, generally above 80%, and the maximum operating temperature reaches 1500.

Wear-resistant refractory castables for circulating fluidized bed boilers in power plants: generally prepared with sintered high-alumina bauxite and fused corundum, some with black silicon carbide, and high-purity calcium aluminate cement plus silicon oxide powder as binder.

 

Alumina suspension roasting furnace: Its physical and chemical performance requirements are similar to those of wear-resistant refractory castables for circulating fluidized bed boilers, but silicon carbide is not added to the ingredients.

 

Wear-resistant refractory castables for oil refining catalytic cracking units: use fused or sintered white corundum as aggregate, high-purity calcium aluminate cement plus reactive alumina as binder, and the Fe2O3 content in the castable is required to be less than 0.05%.

Casting material for heating furnace tapping trough: fused corundum (brown corundum or sub-white corundum) is used as aggregate, and the powder is composed of fused corundum powder, α-AL2O3 powder, SiO2 powder, Cr2O3 powder (or zircon powder) and pure calcium aluminate cement.

 

Product performance

 

Low thermal conductivity, low heat capacity, and thermal shock resistance;

Strong resistance to slag permeability and good air tightness;

Resistant to scouring, wear, and corrosion, high operating temperature, long life, convenient and rapid construction;

The furnace wall can be demoulded 4-8 hours after pouring, and has a certain hardness, which is particularly suitable for wall linings with complex shapes, easy construction, and strong furnace wall integrity.

 

Product application

 

A kind of hydraulic high-strength refractory castable used as a high-temperature and easily worn part of the lining of thermal kilns. Mainly used as the lining of high-temperature cyclone separators, circulating fluidized beds, and the lining of the steel trough of heating furnaces. Compared with traditional castables, it can greatly increase the operating time of boilers and is suitable for fire-fighting belts, return feeders, and the top of mixing chambers.
