Expanded perlite products are thermal insulation and refractory products made of perlite as the main component. Expanded perlite insulation products are made of high-quality expanded perlite as the main component, with an appropriate amount of binder, high-efficiency binder, and admixtures, and are formed manually or mechanically. Such as cement, water glass phosphate, etc., and are made of insulation products through stirring, mixing, molding, drying, roasting or curing. The density of expanded perlite is relatively small, generally only 40-120kg/m"; the refractoriness is not high, generally 1280-1360℃. The maximum use temperature of products with different binders is different, usually below 1000℃.

Expanded perlite products are divided into: cement-bonded expanded perlite products, water glass-bonded expanded perlite products according to the type of binder used. In the Chinese national standard, the products are divided into 200, 250, 300 and 350kg/m*4 categories according to their volume density.

 

 

Expanded perlite products have the characteristics of light bulk density, low thermal conductivity, and good thermal insulation performance. It is a new type of thermal insulation material. It has shown its excellent thermal insulation and energy-saving effects when used in various kilns.
