The Blast Furnace Tapping Channel Is Used To Beat The Material

Blast furnace tap trough ramming material: The raw materials are easily available, the cost is low, the service life is long, the high temperature strength is good, the slag sticking is less and the ramming material for the blast furnace tap trough does not require baking, the construction is convenient and the tapping efficiency is high. In addition, titanium-containing blast furnace slag is comprehensively utilized. This ramming material not only obtains better high-temperature strength, but also solves the problems of serious slag sticking and poor oxidation resistance in the iron trench during tapping, extending the service life of the ramming material. 30% to 50%, especially suitable for the tap trough of blast furnaces for smelting vanadium titanium magnetite.

The characteristics of carbon-containing refractory ramming materials for blast furnace tapping grooves are good slag resistance, strong thermal shock stability, small volume change and strong anti-scouring ability. At the same time, due to the extensive use of high-quality refractory raw materials such as white corundum, brown corundum, spinel, special or first-grade alumina clinker and silicon carbide, it has good high-temperature refractory performance.

The composition of carbon-containing refractory ramming materials for blast furnace tapping grooves varies greatly due to the different volumes of blast furnaces, that is, the amount of iron tapping from the tapping grooves. The refractory aggregates used for ramming materials in the tapping channel of large and medium-sized blast furnaces are fused white corundum or bauxite-based corundum, fused brown corundum and high-temperature fired special-grade bauxite clinker, etc., and high-quality SiC and flake graphite are used at the same time; the aggregate varieties in the tapping channel and slag channel of medium and small blast furnaces are fused brown corundum, bauxite clinker and special-grade clay clinker, etc. Silicon carbide can be high-quality or mixed-grade, and low-grade flake graphite, earthy and other amorphous carbon materials are used as carbon materials. The maximum particle size of refractory aggregate is 8mm or 10mm. In the composition of mud particles, 5~3mm is the main one, generally 27%~32%, 3~1mm is 18~23%, and the rest is larger than 5mm and smaller than 1mm. Refractory aggregates are prepared in multiple levels to obtain the maximum bulk density; silicon carbide is generally added in the form of fine powder, and its dosage is 4%~26%. Carbon-containing materials such as flake or earthy graphite, asphalt coke and electrode powder have a particle size of <1.0mm and a dosage of 3%~15%.

The refractory powder used for carbon-containing refractory ramming materials in the blast furnace tapping groove is determined by its use conditions. Its varieties include α-alumina powder, white corundum or alumina-based corundum powder, brown corundum powder and special or first-grade alumina clinker powder, etc., and the general dosage is 15%~25%; in order to enhance the plasticity and sintering properties of the refractory ramming materials, high-quality soft clay powder is generally added, and the dosage is 3%~6%. In order to improve the performance, some also add silica fume and boric acid.

Products Description

The binders used for carbon-containing refractory ramming materials in the blast furnace tapping groove ramming materials mainly include binding clay, phosphoric acid, aluminum phosphate, resin and asphalt, etc., and the dosage is generally 1.5%~8.5%. Its admixtures include surfactants, which can enhance the affinity of carbon materials with water and facilitate ramming and compaction. When using acidic binders, inhibitors such as oxalic acid should be added to buffer the reaction between acid and metallic iron and extend the shelf life of the ramming materials. When using clay binder, diluent dispersant should be added to reduce the viscosity of clay, reduce water consumption and improve performance.

Blast furnace tapping groove ramming material In carbon-containing refractory ramming material, additives are sometimes used. For example, metal silicon powder is added to improve oxidation resistance. Because metal silicon powder reacts with C at high temperature to form SiC, it can prevent carbon oxidation and improve the strength and slag resistance of refractory ramming material. The appropriate amount of metal silicon is generally 2%~4%. Adding borax can form B2O3-C solid solution with C at medium temperature, which can improve medium temperature strength.

It should be pointed out that when carbon-containing refractory ramming material is prepared, refractory aggregate, powder, carbon material, binder and additive are generally not used alone, but in combination. For example, the iron ditch ramming material for medium-sized blast furnaces uses brown corundum, special or first-grade alumina clinker as refractory aggregate and powder, mixed with SiC and graphite powder and ball pitch, and uses bonding clay and phosphate composite binder.

Al2O3-SiC-C refractory ramming mass is carbon-containing corundum refractory ramming mass, which is used in blast furnaces, especially in medium and small blast furnaces, slag troughs and large-scale ironmaking furnaces and other thermal equipment. The application of carbon-containing refractory ramming mass is still very common. The good effect and large amount of application have attracted the attention of the world.
