Mullite refractory bricks are made of mullite as the main raw material, through high-pressure molding and high-temperature sintering. The thermal shock stability, wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance of the product are very good. The products are widely used in CFB boiler ignition systems and other industrial kilns.
Mullite refractory bricks refer to high-alumina refractory materials with mullite as the main crystal phase. The general alumina content is between 65% and 75%. In addition to mullite, the mineral composition also contains a small amount of glass phase and quartz with a lower alumina content; and a small amount of corundum with a higher alumina content. Mainly used for hot blast furnace top, blast furnace body and bottom, glass melting furnace regenerator, ceramic sintering kiln, dead corner lining of petroleum cracking system, etc.
Mullite refractory bricks have high refractoriness, which can reach above 1790℃. Load softening starting temperature is 1600~1700℃. Room temperature compressive strength is 70~260MPa. Good thermal shock resistance. There are two types of sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks. Sintered mullite bricks are made of high alumina clinker as the main raw material, with a small amount of clay or raw alumina as a binder, and are formed and fired. Fused mullite bricks are made of high alumina, industrial alumina and refractory clay as raw materials, with charcoal or coke fine particles as a reducing agent, and are manufactured by reduction fusion after forming. The crystals of fused mullite are larger than those of sintered mullite, and the thermal shock resistance is better than that of sintered products. Their high temperature performance mainly depends on the content of alumina and the uniformity of the distribution of mullite phase and glass.

Product Features
Lightweight mullite bricks have low thermal conductivity and low heat capacity; high purity and low impurity content; high temperature resistance and can directly contact flames; high strength and excellent thermal shock resistance; lightweight mullite bricks are precise in size and can be cut and processed at will.
Product Description
Lightweight mullite bricks are high-aluminum refractory heat-insulating materials with mullite (3Al2O3.2SiO2) as the main crystal phase. Lightweight mullite bricks are made of high-quality high-purity refractory powder, according to the product requirements, organic composite fillers are added, vacuum extruded and sintered at high temperature, with high alumina content. The produced lightweight mullite bricks have high whiteness, uniform pore arrangement, high flexural and compressive strength, and can be directly used for the lining of various industrial kilns. According to their classification temperature, they are divided into 1300℃ type, 1400℃ type, 1500℃ type, and 1600℃ type.
Lightweight mullite bricks are suitable for hot surface lining and backing of various industrial furnaces in metallurgy, petrochemical, building materials, ceramics, machinery and other industries; such as: cracking furnace, conversion furnace, heating device, refining device, regeneration device, hot air furnace, heating furnace, soaking furnace, heat treatment furnace, resistance furnace, tunnel kiln, roller kiln, shuttle kiln, bell kiln, glass tank kiln, etc.
