      Light Corundum Castable is an unshaped refractory material composed primarily of high-purity corundum aggregates, combined with lightweight refractory fillers, high-quality binders, and functional additives. It is commonly applied in high-temperature insulation layers of industrial furnaces or in areas with strict requirements for low weight and energy efficiency. This castable can be used in combination with lightweight castables, alumina hollow sphere castables, and low-cement refractory castables to form graded insulation structures.

      The binders typically include CA-70 or CA-80 cement, binding clay, aluminum phosphate, and aluminum sulfate. Industrial alumina powder or corundum powder is used as the refractory powder, with over 90% of particles finer than 0.09 mm. The maximum particle size of hollow spheres is 5 mm, and either natural or graded particle distributions are employed. Additional admixtures and additives are incorporated as needed to optimize performance.
