The main function of the nickel-iron rotary kiln is that the domestic smelting of laterite nickel ore mostly uses rotary kilns to heat and burn the nickel-iron raw material laterite (mainly including preheating of the raw material laterite, removing bound water and pre-reduction). In the existing technology, the rotary kiln is composed of a kiln shell and a lining refractory material.

The production process of the kiln lining material in the high temperature zone of the nickel-iron rotary kiln includes aggregate crushing, aggregate screening, powder fine grinding, batching and mixing. Beneficial effects: By introducing the combination technology of micro-powder and ultra-micro-powder, the sintering temperature is controlled and the strength is increased; high strength and wear resistance, the quality of the filling part of the material between the aggregates is improved, and the matrix and the aggregate in the castable can achieve synchronous wear; good thermal shock stability and strong thermal shock resistance solve the problem of crack expansion inside the material.
The high-strength castable for the nickel-iron rotary kiln has the characteristics of convenient construction, good anti-seepage effect, high strength, wear resistance, and long life.
